I need to replace the drivers side exhaust manifold on my Vitesse, what is the best way of removing it to ensure the bolts don't shear in the cylinder head?

Make sure you use the correct size socket (AF) and take it slowly. I've never had a snapped bolt, so I think you'll be fine.
