Hi,

Does anybody know or can measure for me please, the clearance gap between the sump and steering rack in a Rover SD1 V8?

Thanks

Jim

The short answer is... not a lot. I can just squeeze my fingers in the gap
I can get to. There is very little clearance as when you change the
rack, the engine needs to be jacked up to enable the rack to be slid
out.
