1979 Rover Sd1 V8-S 5 Speed in Midas Gold, owned by me since 1997, now restored to former glory and completely standard apart from rimmer sports exhast when the mild steel one popped. 78k miles, originally from the Isle of Man with2 former keepers.

Currently finishing off ready for the National. Wheels currently being refurbed and locating a correct sidestripe is a pain in the arse! Shocked

Its shagpile carpets all the way inside billy and lots of velour! Still has its original radio too which only picks up GEM am!

Possibly I do the show circuit sometimes. it was at billing this year but not at the national 2005.

Tim I saw the pictures of your car on another site and she is lovely my friend - Someone who used to work for my father had an S the same colour as yours and it was a rot box that was eventually scrapped! Sad

I was only 15 at the time so nothing I could do to save her.

Now I'm 33 I want a V8 series one badly and a V8-S would be the one I'd jump for but an SE or VP would run it a close second.
