That's actually a very good car, and will be a rare classic in the
future. Did you know these cars had the internal code-name of
SD3? The SD2 being the failed Triumph Dolomite replacement.

nice...my first car was a g reg 213s. that's the honda engine by the way. although they look really dated from the outside, they're really nice inside and drive well, i never had any trouble with mine for the short time i had it. went to cornwall and back in a day (750 mile round trip) with three people in it no problems.
god it was slow though.....but if it's good enough for hyacinth buck....bouqet, it was good enough for me!!!
must be quite rare being a manual vdp efi, much as the sd1 vdp efi is.

I'm sure they did a 200 Vitesse too?

Wasn't it like Rover 200 version of the MG Maestro Turbo? Again quite a rare catch I should think...

Find one, buy one, store one?

There was a Rover 200 Vitesse for sale in Derby earlier this year, if I had had the cash I would've had it off him, but it looked like a bit of a nail. Was black with the 'Vitesse' decals down the side
