hi all has any one ever heard of a replacement for the standard flapper style airflow meter on a 1982 efi sdi that is not flapper but looks like a custom / homemade hot wire possibly a kit of some sort
as this is what is on mine i still have the original was in the boot will swap them over to see what what in performance and drivability
the unit is about a foot long tubular and alloy painted black with a small box like peice to which the loom is attached

Hi,
I would like to know what ECU system can be fitted to my 1985 SD1 efi to replace the existing flapper unit. I have been told that the flapper leaves a bit to be desired on the performance side of things, but am not sure what I should be looking at as a replacement.
Would something from a later 3.9 efi Rover such as a Discovery fit the SD1?
Any advice appreciated.

Regards,
Paulcnb

This NEW replacement Nissan Sentra mass air flow meter sensor is just what you need to get your Sentra in good working order again! This air flow meter has the following specifications: Direct replacement Replaces Nissan Part # 22680-5M000 Fits in between air cleaner and air intake hose Fits 1.8L engines only Installation Notes: 1. Make sure the air filter is in good condition and replace if necessary.2. Clean out and inspect the intake hose when replacing this part. Moving the intake hose during replacement can loosen dirt which can then damage the new sensor. This item is an electrical part. These units are tested prior to shipment. This electrical item is not returnable, it is only eligible for exchange.
