Here in the US, carpeted dashboard covers are quite popular. Try as I may, I cannot find anyone who ever made these for the SD1s. Does anyone know if these were made for the series one cars? They help a great deal keeping the plastic dashes from cracking. Perhaps not a problem in the UK ? Also, were polished wheel opening moldings ever made aftermarket for the SD1s? You see them on Jags all the time here and they really help dress the car up.

The carpet dash top mats were made (and are made, I believe) for
series 2 cars in Australia. I guess in a series 1 car, the top bit would
be too long. I believe Rimmers have sourced the dash top mat
recently and are seeing if there is demand to get a batch made. Drop
them an email?

The chrome wheel arch trims. I've certainly seen SD1s with them on,
one of the rare V8-S models has them, but not sure if they are specific
for the SD1, or just a bendy moulding. They look NAFF in my opinion,
you should show off your perfect, non-blistered arches instead

my VDPEFI has the chrome arch trim. never really noticed it wasnt a common thing till it was mentioned here (and then i went into my SD1 pictures folder and discovered very few with the trim).

My car came with the trim, and it looks like its made for the car, not just some cheap stick on stuff (mine seem to be made of actual chromed metal...).
