Does anybody know the correct torque settings for the corner brackets that hold the rear bumper on to the body? Have had to remove the corner brackets as part of the body resto(& also refurbed the corner brackets while they were off the car!), & not too sure of the torque setting, as they do take a fair bit of weight if you have to jack the car up at some point...

Are you serious?
Use your mind.. I usually tighten those kind bolts as tight as my mind says..
I also chek haynes owners workshop manual, without results..

Yes I am serious! I put them back on before & tightened them up, but as soon as I jacked the car up at the rear one ofthem moved as it clearly wasn't tight enough! Don't want to overtighten them incase I strip the threads of break it!!

I had this happen too - didn't tighten enough and jacking then dislodged
the brackets. But, there isn't a torque setting for these bolts, they should
be tightened up enough to hold the bracket in place!
I would do them up with a similar amount of force that it took to undo them. With the proviso of obviously stop if you feel the thread starting to let go
