Another thing I've always thought about with the SD1 and moreso with the Vitesse is the absence of a rear underbumper valance...

The front is lovely, all low and ground huggingly aggressive, the rear? not so much

I remember some bodykits at the time had them, but Rover never fitted one.

Has anyone ever modified one from another car to fit?

Advanced apologies to V8driver for "mutilating" his car, Embarassed I'm no PC or graphic or paintbox expert, but just for a bit of fun I've added a Vitesse-style spoiler to the back.....

One SD1 that is being broken up had the richard grant bodykit (front and skirts are gone only rear bumper left). The rear thing looked pretty awful.. wouldnt put it on my car. Im thinking the worts spoilment has to be the spare tyres place sticking out at the rear. Oh yes and it gets worse if its gloss black (mine is Sad)

The rear of my Vitesse under the bumper is black underseal, as is the side bit to the rear wheelarch under the bumper, so it lines up with the wheelarch spat when I fit it.....

No need to apologise...However,If I come out of my house and find it looking like that I'll be very upset...

Keep it looking standard folks...Just give it more power
