Wanted ............does anyone out there in Rover land have this item?
for a 1986 Rover 2600.

the part that bolts to the fan blades and then to the water pump.

thanks guys for the replies but a brand new 1 from Rimmers is nestling in the engine bay now......

as usual, the guys at Rimmers did me a good deal on some parts.

Brand new viscous coupling? I still say get rid & get an electric fan, bring the SD1 into the 21st century! Wink

Some would say the viscous coupling is far more technically advanced
than an electric fan! It's less likely to fail completely - you really need
two electric fans to guard against that.

Certain modern cars still use viscous coupling don't they? RWD ones at
least...

My uncles car has electric fan conversion and he said its rubbish... that the fan used to OVERHEAT until he changed the kenlowe fan to a rover 820 one which has been working perfect. Everything far bit better & advanced is crap for him... he badmouthed the rear discs too so I dont really know whats the truth.
