I was watching Charlie Chans Who Am I ? the other day and was sure I spotted a black series 2 driving into a big warehouse. I scoured the film after that but couldn't see it again.
It looked like it was filmed in South Africa so I guess it could have been there. |

By far the most interesting is MOC229P in the New Avengers.
This is a pre-production car registered in April 1976 - 3 months
before public launch of the SD1. Where is it now (doesn't
survive, according to DVLA website). |

Nope, MOC229P was genuine - check the DVLA.
The car was seemingly reused in early The Professionals
episodes as MOO229R - this is a fake plate. |

I'm pretty sure this car was on ebay a couple of years ago, 3.5 S2, same colour with brown seats in the front, when the rest was light, it had no front headrests too, I had long forgot about Rita Sue and Bob to when that was for sale, it was even in West Yorkshire, I belive it was out of Tax and Test and needed work so it could have been bought for the engine _________________ Keep smiling |
