Thats just plain stupid. He looked for an organ donor to give its V8... And he bought a good condition SD1 for that purpose. Makes my blood boil! Rather strip classic range rover for its engine.

Lack of skills, storage and the cash to be honest, Im ok at somethings but fitting a engine and box is a bit much for me.

Someone must want it?

A BAD EGG INDEED!!

Perhaps to redeem himself, he should receive NO bids then he donates it free of charge to his nearest SD1 enthusiast.

Someone with a V8 engine kicking around doing nothing.....?? Wink

I mean let's face it with no engine only an SD1 enthusiast would consider taking this car on, unless (dare I say it) another SD1 breaker for the sale of the wheels, interior, bonnet, doors etc.

Incidentally it seems my old twin plenum Vitesse has NOT been broken for spares, it is taxed and on the road (according to the DVLA) Very Happy

Sounds good, but lets face it, He will scrap it without bids.
Its probably only worth £20-30 weigh in value without the engine.

Definatly! Mind you what can you get a decent V8 for these days £250? so for £400 you have a tidy Sd1 with a long MOT, cheap ey!
