Just happened to be half watching a classic episode of Tales of the Unexpected on ITV3.

It was an episode filmed in 1982, called The Absence of Emily, and starred Anthony Valentine.

The story is based at a large manor house, where we see several Hyacinth Bucket type ladies taking afternoon tea on the lawn, then as they leave they approach a gravelly driveway.

On the driveway is

a Classic green coloured Range Rover
an old square Volvo
a red TR7

and a bright yellow series 1 SD1, unable to see engine size etc

cloverleaf wheelcovers, looks very similar to the Cowley/Steed SD1 (same film company perhaps using the same car(s)?), but as the cars were leaving the shot finished before the SD1 passed the camera hence NO registration number, sorry.

Whoever was driving the car however was not used to the power, as they pulled away, the rear wheel spun slightly on the gravel, which was immediately adjusted to allow a smooth take off LOL Very Happy

Jay
