Who is all going to the National this year?
Im going along with a few others with their SD1s here in sunny Scotland and will be staying in a farmhouse near where the National is held.
Im looking forward to seeing all your cars so hope you can manage!!  |

I plan to be there, hopefully won't get caught out like last year when my
Vitesse was still in 1000 pieces and I had to roll up in a Focus
There is 'best restoration' prize this year - will be interesting to see what
gets entered for that.
With the number of targa red Vitesses likely to turn up, maybe we should
get reserved parking  Tim, your V8-S can have a pedestal
Hope the weather is the same as it is at the moment! |

we can but try- I wonder if we could get a colour-chart of V8-Ss there.
EDIT- Shiny we can do. running, MOTd and taxed- that's something else entirely. |

If we get a persian aqua, midas gold (me) and a triton green in a line then that would be cool, as I think thate the 3 colours that the S was available in when first launched. _________________ 1979 Rover SD1 V8-S

I'm sure they came in black and platinum too Tim, or was that a bit later?
I remember seeing a platinum one in a local scrappy many years ago, I was too young to do anything about it then though!  |

Well guys,It looks like i can make it.  I will be there.Probably in a 95 merc  with my dad.(Dont worry i'll make sure it's out of sight  ). I'll see can i bring my SD1.(150 miles!,probably not!)if i have it road legal by then.Or if i bought a SD1 while im there i'll bring it. |
