Was passed these details of a car for sale the other day.

1977 SD1
4.1L V8. Ex Santa Pod Drag Race SD1. Used to be running 10.5 second 1/4 miles. Now has 390 BHP since supercharger and Nitros removed. Also removed Wheely bar and parachute. Shocked

Car is on the road, taxed and MOTed.
Fibre glass front end, roll cage, big wheels, etc etc.
I have spoken to the owner and he says he has spent £12,000 recently on it, personnal circumstances mean having to sell the car. I think he wants no more than £2000. 07863 281291.

I have not seen the car but want it myself. Too many cars not enough space. Crying or Very sad

Keep an eye on practical classics as I passed on it's details to them after they came to me looking for a Drag racing SD1. Laughing

Wonder if it was that black R plater advertised on the SD1 website lat month? with te fibreglass front end.
