I think i have grounded the front in a rutty pub car park and ripped a hose as when i got back in the car, the steering was wining and now lost all fluid. Are these pipes readily available?

Rimmers have the pipes, not cheap though!

If you continue to use the car, disconnect the power steering pump
(remove the belt) as the pump will die quickly with no fluid.

Use it without power steering? it was bad enought just trying to get it back in the Garage! Shocked
I looked in the India catologue and you can get all 3 for £50.
I have not been underneath the car but the fluid came from the front directly in the middle of the car. Is that likely to be the pipes? I hope it's not the rack.

No fluid, no power steering anyway! But the pump will knacker without
fluid. You'll have arms like Arnie in a week Laughing

The pipes run from the pump to the rack on the passenger side. If your
car is late enough, it'll have a power steering oil cooler with pipes visible
below the battery. The cooler is just a loop of pipe below and in front
of the radiator. This may have rotted though - I know the one on my
Vitesse is pretty rusty - Rimmers have these new.

Sounds likely then that that is what i have done. It was quite a loud clunk of Spoiler etc meeting gravel. Rolling Eyes
