£96.25 for something i drive maybe once a week! Yep Car Tax! How can that be justified? Sorned her last month but this month i need to use her to go down south to see friends. I don't like to leave the other half without a car so mine will be pressed into service. Still it will be quite fun to drive around a very familiar area in something this quick!
Basingstoke is Boy Racer central so should be a laugh. Going to be a juicy trip as well. 160 miles from here. Also going to collect Slicks whilst there.

I changed my lock up last year and the cars had to sit on the street for a week before I got my new premises...I got stung me for tax..and all the back tax too cos it was off the road for 2 years...I`m sick of the whole cost of motoring these days..it`s extortionate...
I`m toying with giving up motoring day to day as the shops and the kids school are local anyway....Buying motors is the easy part..it`s running them that empty`s the bank balance....More dough to throw towards the projects ....

Sounds nasty that taxing of yours. My SD1 tax would be about 150€ a year (90£?). Last time when I was in UK the police were pretty fair. Everybody drove like 100-120mph on the 75mph zone in motorways and police didnt care... they just drove along the traffic very fast.

The problem here is same too... Police dont really care about solving crimes. They just sit on the side of the road with their police car. Radaring the ongoing traffic to see if some poor soul happens to drive 10kmh over the limit. Well.. I guess thats some way to keep the trash that leech social security alive.

I got stopped and moaned at by a policeman the other day when I was on my motorcycle because the white space around the L of my learner plates was too small. I could scarcely believe it.
