Just had some exciting news from the bodyshop, my car should be back with me before the weekend. It's taken a little longer because as we all know, once one starts stripping back, removing bumpers and trim etc, more rust is found, and as the guy in the bodyshop knows I intend to keep the car, he has repaired all found rust patches for me, hence a one week job has turned into a one month job.

He is going to put my new front fog lights on for me (I still can't figure out how the blooming things go on, I'm such a dunce)

My (used) Vitesse alloys are at home awaiting fitment.

I can't wait!!!

Jay check you're anti virus and settings on you're pc as i am told that this is what is not letting you see the confirmation code to let you log on. This site seems to be easily affected by Anti Virus programmes and treats the message as spam.

A Further update: Now won't get car back till this Friday 27th (touch wood, fingers crossed, etc etc) A little bonus for me is that he is going to spray both sides of the car for me (not just the 2 door bottoms and 2 wheel arches as previously said), he will put my new front fog lights on for me (both bumpers are currently off car, new rear bumper to be fitted) and additionally he's agreed to tidy my Vitesse alloys, I'm going for silver rims and body-coloured (Orporto Red) centres (the crossy-spokey bit). Just can't wait to get her back and DRIVE her....... Look out for piccies when done. Jay

Come November 11th, it will be two months, the car should be concours when it comes back.......
