Need one of these as my idle is erratic and the car cuts out when i come to a stop. Anyone know where i can get one?

Rimmers did a new one, its about £200 Shocked

second hand ones are about but im now tracking another one down for myself as the one i got has lasted 3 months!!
So if you can stomach it get a new one, better in the long run, but i will let you know if i find any second hand ones.
Also pm Ramon he has a design for a home made one or even a repair as a last resort!! Wink

Yes a lot of Money that! I think i'll get a secondhand one for now. It's really becoming a pain now. Especially if i'm in Norwich. Evil or Very Mad

Ok Ian at the "Runcorn SD1" centre has one, Its the later (better) range rover type, (need a slight wiring alteration which sounds very easy d.i.y.) he only has one so I will leave it to you if you want it coz i know you need it more, Its £35 all in, call: (01928) 564413 Very Happy

You can (if you're very careful) strip open the case and move the copper contacts a little onto a section of un-worn track. Hey presto, throttle pot will be like new.
