Lightened flywheel,Lightened and balanced crank etc etc etc.

Very quick, handled great but was a nightmare to drive because the suspension was solid Rolling Eyes

Could speak about it all day and bore you all but will stop now Rolling Eyes

Colour is not to everyones taste but it was built late 90's Rolling Eyes Laughing

Sold it him for peanuts on the promise he would turn it into a demo car with a 5.2.
So when i got it to Norwich from Nottingham for him i dropped the motor and box out.
He sold the motor and made more than his money back.
I was only working there for the summer as i did every year.
Returned in 2003 for the summer and was horrified to see he had just left it to rot Twisted Evil
Then when i worked there properly/full time in 2004 i used alot of the parts off it for the Top Gear SD1 and took the wheels and kit back for myself Laughing Wink

They are now sat in my shed and i will build the ultimate SD1 one day Cool Very Happy

Thanks 'F.M' Wink
The blak Prism Motorsport SD1 that was in Max Power in the 90's
shared the same wheels and arches.

And i'm not sure of the colour 'Smiffy' as it was already that
colour when i got it Confused
And its a damn shame its not still around Sad

But i will build a bigger better one Cool Wink Very Happy

I recall the max power one but this was outside the garage where I bought my turbo engine at the beginning of this year ... I`lll have a word with my bro to find out where it was ..it was ripe to be rescued ... a good starting point for you..it had everything there including arches and s/rims already... just really needed another better spray job.. Cool

Bloody nice pics on my old phone ..I`ll try to locate them.. Crying or Very sad

Looks a very similar colour to my car. And I thought my car was unique. Mine is a standard Ford colour. I get more hand waves from peoples cars with the same colour than other SD1's!!

When are the plans to get this new ultimate beast on the road then?
