It's seems that once you solve one problem another pops up. In the last few days I've noticed a leak coming from under the extreme passanger side of the engine bay. On inspection it looks like oil, but it isn't, it looks like water and a little oil thrown in. I checked my oil and water level and it is fine. I thought it may be a water leak that is pooling down the bottom under carriage and mixing with any "loose" oil, but the car is running fine. The only explanation I can think of is this (forgive me if this sounds strange). Recently, we had a huge rain storm that I took my car out into. The passing days after were still quite cold with no sun and thus the car stayed in "moist state". My belief is, and correct if such a thing cannot happen, but is it possible for the drainage points at the front of the car to block and then slowly drain away over a few days?

The only other thing I can think of is that something is wrong with my heater as I have heard they leak water if busted. But my interior is dry throughout when I have run it.

Is your car equipped with air conditioning? On the air-conditioned cars, the heater air inlet and fan is mounted on the passenger side. I know that on my car, the fan box tends to fill with water in heavy rain, which empties into a drain hose that runs somewhere to the extreme passenger side.

Yeah, my car does have air con. Does it normally take this long to leak out though? It's been like that since Sunday. There appears to be two drips, one on each side of the passenger side wheel just under the mud guard.

That's quite a good point. Try pouring water into the mesh vents beside the bonnet catch. It should drain out immediately from somewhere near the center of the car. If it doesn't, then chances are you're getting water into the fan box. There's a small drain hole in the inlet chamber that should stop water from getting further, but I know that on mine it keeps on getting blocked.

Thanks for the advice. I checked last night and those areas are dry. I've made an appointment at my mechanics to have it looked at as I am now worried it might be leaking from the breaks. I can't understand as everything is working as it should but this slow leak keeps on dripping.

I've had a closer inspection and I do believe it's brake fluid (I never thought that brake fluid looked as much leke water than that up close). It's a slow leak and as said before all my fluid levels are fine including the break fluid. Oh well, hopefully it's not too much bother to fix. It only seems to be leaking at one point on the inside of passenger side front wheel. I'll continue to drive carefully until it's fixed as it has been going on for a while now with no dramas. I'll keep an eye on it though.
