I will have to go down to the newagents now to have a look.

Cheers for your comments. The indicators were done by the previous owner. I like them as it gives the side a very clean look and may have looked funny with them still in with the swage line removed. There is one other SD1 I have seen with them removed also. A blue V8 with the best wheels I have ever seen. 17" with very deep dish 5 spokes. Very Happy

well done dan. how's it going mate?
she's looking better with the blue front, very nice.
sorry to hear i won't be seeing it around this year.
look forward to seeing you both when she's done mate.
can't even upset the snobs myself this year, as my 2.6 doesn't make any meaningful noise. remember our entry into wimpole hall last year?

depends where you take it mate. a mate of mine has a barry boy clio. only 1.2 but has a rear box on it, and i'm not joking, you could put put your foot in it, with a shoe on, its about 12 inches wide and six high oblong. really sad, but loud. anyway, it failed the mot on it. however, i have a mate who is an mot tester, so if you think it may not pass, let me know, i'll get him to mot it for you. garage in saffron walden.

Theres a slight difference between some 1.2L bean-cooker than a proper V8 sound. V8 sound isnt annoying where as the n/a line4 engines tend to make horrible noise that reminds me of oversized lawnmover.

oh yeah. the clio sounds absolutely cack. we rip the pee out of him at work about it. a decent engine wouldn't need a huge exhaust like that, as i keep telling him!
lee, if you need the mot, let me know. whenever.
