This car came to Canada in November 2002, and has only seen 7000km since that time. The revious owner took good care of her, and now it's my turn.

It's a real head turner here, as you never see any RHD vehicles on the road, and an SD1 to boot.

I have the original service book for the car, and all the regular services were perfomed. I even have the original Mastercare I.D Card. But I did discover that the engine was rebuilt in 98 and a new speedo was put in, so the true milage of the car is nearly 300k!!! But as ther car was serviced every 3- 6 months by the look of it from 1984 to 2002 when it came to Canada, I am guessing it has had parts replaced over that time aside from the speedo.

The original owners were
Sunline Switchborads
Mr K.J. Dupuy

and it was bought at Henleys Motors, in East Hawthorn, 3123. I even have the name and address of the dealer who certified it. Sweet

Restored the seats since I got here, and added a spoiler. Found one locally on an Series 1 NADA car, go figure. Now just to get some new wheels from Blighty, and lower the suspension. She will be gorgeous then.

That's nice! Always good to hear of SD1s in north America. I wonder
how many NADA and special imports are left? 200, 100, 50?

I notice from the interior picture the steering wheel ROVER badge is
silver writing on black background? This is unusual as it's usually
silver writing on darker silver background. There is one SD1 around
the UK with this type of badge. I wonder if it was for the Australian
market?

I think quite a few SD1 NDA type are left, though in what condition I don't know. I know of about 20 myself. One of the members on here lives 3 miles from me, and he has 3. Admitedly 2 are toast and for spares, but one is in really good condition.

Here is a good example here in Ontario, just scroll down the page.
