what's the story with this one then?
has it been in storage, are you restoring it etc.
looks very tidy body-wise
surprising how many nice sd1s live in the southern hemisphere

That's nice.... Must be a very early SD1 for Australia, one of the first
imported I'd guess?

hello
Im a triumph man really have mk2 with 150 bhp tr5 injected motor
Brought this rover of ebay 3 years ago for$2300 drove it in a shed and left it car ha dealer service for first 3 years then patchy service history till now
surprisingly has good interior drives good has air
needs drivers door bonnet accident damage repaired before and bog shrinking not serious but if i can buy door and bonnet in right color then cheaper then panel beaters
just to let you know that the triumph rotory light switch is a direct fit for rover toggle light switch worked that out after rover one fell on floor while driving at night

Very similar to how mine started out, also built in 1978 as an Oz spec car, also in white. They were all autos, V8s low compression and extensively detoxed to meet the local ADRs, producing a measley 137 bhp, fitted with AlpinAir add-on air con by the local distributor (then Jaguar Rover Aust).
