Would be damn nice to hear how the car sounds in action. What the turbos do to the RV8 sound?

Car comes in at just under 3/4 tonne, had enough trouble getting power down when she was P6 powered V8.

She's been fired up for the first time today in this configuration, very loud, sounds more like a four pot Chav Chariot with a big exhaust. Can't wait to try her out, as I've plumbed the waste gates striaght into end of 2' exhaust, should sound wonderful.

The turbos take the sting out of the pulse so it loses it's V8 rumble, hence the wastegates where they are, when they open full open header V8 roar........ Bring it on........And the ear defenders........And the exclusion order from the police..........And the low loader home Smile

glad you all like it, everybody smiles when they see and hear her coming down the street.
Every sunday all the chavs meet up in town and tear up the ring road and the police do a "go slow" to slow them down, then they hear me coming and pull the convoy over and let me blast past..... \\\\\\everybody loves her. She's going in for paint next month, used to be a cop car, still got the holes in the roof for the lights and everything. All my mates said paint doors white and write police on her but I thought that was a bit cheesy so she being gunned in old english white with all new chrome and the wheels are gonna be ford aubergine metallic......Think she's gonna look fab!!!!!! Smile

Am building/ getting built a new one, this time with 4.6 injected and turbo'd, TVR T5 box, ford 9" back end with a slipper and mustang front IFS with airbags, Rollcage -o-rama, tagged to run 9 secs 1/4 mile, looking for 450 - 500 bhp from this one......

All in a new 53 split screen morris that has just been restored and ready for me to cut up........

I have no shame. As they say, "any man can restore a car but it takes a real man to cut one up..........." Twisted Evil

If anyones interested, she's up for grabs, £3k no offers

I'm still thinking about repainting her and fitting all the new panels I have, so she'll be more when that happens
