Hi,

I have some janspeed twin turbo parts up for grabs if anyone is interested. They are as follows:-
2 off exhaust manifolds c/w wastegates
Exhaust down pipes in VGC (apparently rare now)
All induction pipework (cast alloy)
All other pipework and fittings (for wastegates and boost take off)
These are now surplus to requirements as I've had all new manifolds and bits and bobs made (at great expense)
The turbos and carbs are NOT available.

You will have to collect from Cheltenham as they are too big and heavy.

Offers please

0778 3000 949

Cheers

Jeff

If you've been looking at the ebay ad then yes. The compressors and carbs were gold too, car was originally red then hand painted white with emulsion, suppose it would have looked great in the eighties, all that red and gold.

Hi,

Thanks for the interest, these parts have now been sold.

If you would like any pointers or want to ask me any questions about my twin turbo conversion, feel free to ask.

Cheers

Hi Jeff,

Any idea how to add twin turbos to an Efi car?

I have an Efi with Federal system (84 VDP) here in Canada. I am interested in adding some kick to her without taking away from her as she is in spectacular condition. So a little more oopmh but not change it enough to stop it from being original.

Thanks Ken..

My car

Hi,

Been doing my research and it's actually quite easy.

In a nut shell it's simple.

You need to fit a MAP sensor into the plenum and plumb both turbo's straight into the plenum. This will render your hot wire / flapper / air flow meter redundant.

You then need to fit a fully programmable ecu such as a megasquirt (cheaper but more complicated) or Omex (dearer but easier to program, and with the omex you can also carry out 3d mapping (that's getting a bit complicated) but a in car variable boost controller will sort that out.
Ideally, ditch your inlet and injection set up in favour of the early Classic range rover 14 CUX type. If you can, get the complete setup, fuel rails, regs, inlet etc etc. This means that all you have to do is cut the plug off the loom and wire up new one, hey presto.

Think that should help. Look at

he's very helpful and there's plenty of chat about Twin Turbo's on there.

Hope this helps, if not, drop us a line
