I was going to keep it secret until the new paint but I need a Nearside wing if anyone has one spare to sell.
I've been running it this week and its great, sadly the body is in need of attention, I'm putting some panels on that I bought for my project but I'm short of that wing.

Nice! Is it a genuine white Vitesse? There seem to be a few around,
plus the odd-ex Police Vitesse in white (thinking there was an E-plate
one for sale last year).

Ex British aerospace Very Happy sold to a member off staff when a 3 years old and then sold to another member of staff at british aerospace after 12 months, who kept it for 18 years, bought by me now Very Happy
Sadly the front wings are past their best, as is the exhaust, and bonnet, rear arches need some work and the body needs paint, but its taxed tested and I've driven it over 250 miles this week and is off for another 157 miles tonight Very Happy

Means I have 4 Rovers now, 2 serise 1's and 2 serise 2's and not enough time, soooooooo I'm going to scrap the 1977 3500 as its to rusty to do anything with and use the new panels I collected for it for my new Rover, the x reg one will be put back together Sad (stripped for my other serise 2) and listed on ebay, it will be complete.

I also have a Capri and a 105e anglia which will go on sale to, I'm not single these days so I don't have the time to do anything with them so I'll pass them on, just doing a running restoration and tinkering with the new Rover is enough for me, and means I should get to shows this summer to Very Happy

Mmmmm thats the tuff one, I have £1600 in it under a year, its had in the last month(and not driven) track control arm, track rod end, new exhaust rubbers and two front tryes.
In the past few months its had a clutch, water pump, new rad, low mileage 5 speed gear box, original radio and uncut dash(not yet fitted), it has a really good set of recaro seats and trim, parcel shelf, alloy wheel centres, its going to have two new tyres for the rear and a fresh MOT in the next few weeks.

Here is the beast

A shame to scrap a 1977 car as early cars are very rare. Is it worth
trying the Club to see if anyone is interested in taking on an early
car restoration?

I will do, but the rot is bad, I wouldn't have thoughtanyone would want to take it on, I will offer it before I do anything with it.
