For now I just have to stick to my 57 Moggy which will only do 63mph Laughing

hi (sam i presume?)
welcome to the wonderful world of the rover sd1.
you don't need to own one to be welcome on here mate, but if you break a nice twin plenum vitesse to put the engine in your minor you might want to keep it a secret!!! Rolling Eyes
incidentally, your moggie would probably show my v8 a clean pair of heels at the moment Shocked
enjoy mate

Break an SD1? I would never do that Wink

If I were to hotrod the minor I would probably look for a Land Rover engine, or if I had enough money buy one of the new engine, I cant remember who makes them now though.

Hi Sam, Welcome to the forum, go on get yourself a SD1, you wouldn't regret it, owning a Moggy and SD1 are a perfect combination, I should know I own both! British engineering at its best!

Thanks, I have looked on there, I am trying to get one with a V8 and manual gearbox and one that isn't too expensive., I have a lot of time though because I wont insure it until next year when I am 19.
