Hi all,
Can anyone send me a picture or tell me how and where bonnet gas struts are fitted, i have an old set with brackets and a new set with new ball joints. The bonnet is on a stay bar but i prefer the gas struts.

I was looking at were the exsisting stay bar is not at the hinges, i'll have a go at the weekend.

What's involved in retro-fitting a stay rod to a car with gas struts? Mine are shot, and a stay rod is £8 Vs. £50 for new struts Wink
