This is going to sound silly, but how do you get the radio to work? When mine is turned on it automatically starts scanning through the radio stations. When it finds one, it plays for approx 5 seconds and then goes on to the next. When it reaches the end of the frequency range it goes back to the beginning and starts over.

Jabbing buttons seems to have no effect...

Any ideas?

Sounds to me as if its busted OR your aerials naff and it cant find a strong signal, if you have a autosearch burton (AS) that may be the culprit.

The leccy aerial works ok, and it does tune in nicely, albeit only for about 5 seconds. The car handbook doesn't really mention the radio so I'm just guessing. I'll have to have a look for an autosearch button...
