Odd request I know, but let me explain.

I am a member of another on-line forum that caters for the Metro, Maestro and Montego in all the various 'guises'.

One of my 'jobs' within the forum is to source parts for our cars, and inform members/owners as to the best places to get parts, and on some occasions buy job lots and 'spread the joy' for cost + Time +expenses etc.

Last week I took on 2 x 7.5 tone lorry loads of ex rover stock dating back to BMC days.
Included were a batch of torque converters, some of which I have identified as Mk1 V8 units (borg warner 65).

There are also late model 'TC's' for the 2000/2300 and 2600.

All packaging and info that came with them show tham to be new old stock and not recon.

Im pretty sure there are other SD1 and associated parts mixed in with what I have.

My question is,

is there some one who would like to come and help identify any SD1 parts that may be there?

I have already found an alloy wheel in addition to the TC's.

Im not looking 'Rimmer' prices for the parts should any one want to buy them, just a 'reasonable offer'.

I have checked rimmers prices for the Mk1 V8 TC and for a recon unit is pretty pricey (£182 exchange?)

i have contacted the SD1 owners club to see if there interested as well, and got to this site thru there links page.
