without me knowing,my (now ex-) girlfriend took it for a spin,She climbed a grass verge 4ft high!.I was bloody speechless.. Confused
Depressing that you pride and joy can be damaged easily.I've got some second hand parts handy so its not so bad.

Damage report:Front splitter broken, front bumper broken, underbelly panel broken and wing slightly damaged.engine wont start but my brother checked it out and said the starter is "f*cked"and driver side wheel out of balance. Sad . i may need to ask some questions if i get stuck so at least you know why.

DAMN!! F*ck thats just f*cked... What the hell was she thinking? (propably stinking) Finnish way to sort this out would be to take an axe and detach a few limbs from the person who is guilty of doing this.

lets say she is lucky i restrained myself. Evil or Very Mad.If it was someone else, yes.

The structure is ok.I stripped the front and the structure is solid(cosmetics broke).Good reliable steel.(If it was a modern car with recycleable parts, it would of been a lot worse). The starter packed up.So took it out to get refurbished.

I've said it before and I'll say it again,"Ouch".

As you say if it was a modern car,it would have been a lot worse, take my wifes mondeo for example(trust me you don't want pics)

I've searched through my small shed of SD1 parts and found used replacements. So im going to swap parts over to make one good bumper(chrome strips, headlamp washers,etc.).Take the moonraker blue spoiler off the other bad underbelly panel, skim of filler, testfit and then respray. The good underbelly panel has spots fitted already and is in perfect condition.Still have to fix the wheel problem and refit the starter next week.

Im debating fitting the north american spec lamps while the spray gun is out Smile .
