I am looking for some early S1 brake calipers, I belive these are differnt to S2 caliepers. Not sure if S2 calipers will fit but I belive they are not quiet the same. (Calipers on my car are shot)

Rimmers list 2-pot caliper refurbs:

Pretty expensive.... Rimmers also list 4-pot versions (part of the India stock). Unless you
want to keep the car 100% original, worth considering. They are not the 4-pot vented discs
(Vitesse/VDP EFi), so I don't think any piping needs changing - so the engine compartment
will look original.

Having ahd a look around, many parts lists list the same pads and fitting kits for the Ford transit upto '91, I am wodering if the calipers are the same, (not as unlikley as you might think!) if so then they can be got ver very cheap

Anything to improve the original system is a good thing! They arent the most positive brakes about!
