The TWO passenger door handles on my 2000 SD1 refuse to open outside and inside.

I pulled the lock inside upwards but there seems to be a lot of resistance.

I pulled the inside door handle and again theres more resistance.

Outside the handle just travels but doesn't click.
Do you think it could be seized?

I just want to get everything accesible before I being the restoration.
My brothers bloody sapphire cosworth replica is under construction the mo,Have to wait for that to go Sad.

Ramon had a similar issue with (I think) the driver's door. From memory, a bit of gentle
persuasion opened the door - i.e. someone pushing from inside, someone else pulling
from outside.

The other possible is I've been told if the child-lock buttons are part-way in (or part-way
out!), the latch can jam and refuse to open from inside or out - you may be able to slide
something in the shut-line and check the child-lock is fully out?
