Hmmmm....

Indeed, needs a lot of bodywork, initially I thought it was a TP, but it appears not so.

With things like

1) An apparantly low mileage rebuilt efi engine with associated ecu, fuel tank and pump etc
2) Efi alloys
3) Stainless steel exhaust
4) Vitesse brakes, steering and suspension
5) Reasonable looking interior
6) Genuine Vitesse spoilers

plus perhaps more....

alas things like this makes it valuable and attractive as a car for some good apparant treasures - donor parts....!!! Sad

Very sad, hopefully whoever wins it will be a bodywork whiz and restore it to its former glory, the prices and availability of panels these days, I think it would be rude not to restore this potentially lovely car.

Looks nice...though listed as no mods done....He must have missed the series two front spoiler, steering wheel and headlamp brows. All easily removeable, the only thing that would put me off is someone has fitted aftermarket washer jets in the bonnet.

I'm not sure on wheels, are those VDP alloys only series fitment?

These look like the cars I spotted on Hayling Island, Hampshire in March of this year (see my "SD1 spotted, was it you" post), it appears he's now selling them, a Twin Plenum Vitesse and 2600 Vanden Plas (Efi look-a-like) and a mercedes sprinter full of spares....£1500!! Very Happy

I'd be happy to cast a (very unexpert) eye over these cars should anyone be interested, perhaps give you a better idea of their condition? Jay

The seats look like series 2 items too. The car is too early for series
1.5 bits like the stainless backed door mirrors and series 2 seats. Wheels
are series 2 alloys, never fitted to series 1 cars.

Nice looking car, though the n/s front arch looks like it's been filled.

I know it's a pick up, but it makes one speculate what an SD1 cabriolet may have looked like?

That Vitesse Coupe shows even more the styling cues from the Ferrari Daytona, especially in red.....

absolutely brilliant...sort of...
obviously the kiwi one is on the road, and that six wheeler was on ebay a while ago, but where are these cars - ie why don't we see them at shows now. have they been crushed or what?
would make the sd1 club national a bit special.....
so if somebody out there has one of them, PLEASE let us see it!!
