Looks like a ex plod car to me, white no spoilere and no bumper inserts yet alloys.

Pretty sure i saw that on a tv program about crash testing road barriers some years ago.

I remember thinking how well the SD1 did in the test Cool

I remember my Dad crashing my Mums old 2600 into a parked car Rolling Eyes

,it came off very well indeed Cool

One of the SD1 selling points was it's safety. Original brochures
have various SD1 crash pics. Similar story with the P6 - Rover
were selling safety long before it was fashionable.

Wonder how the SD1 compares today. Probably zero Euro-NCAP.
But modern cars have stupidly thick A-pillars affecting vision,
making my life as a cyclist far more dangerous....

Agreed

A-pillars are getting dangerously thick,its said some new cars put Motorcyclists/cyclists out of sight for upto 4 seconds Shocked

Some cars such as the Citroen Picasso and other family wagons have 2 A-pillars so to speak and that is illegal apparently Shocked

The view at a junction is seriously hampered Exclamation
