Hi,
Anyone out there got a decent pair of auto gearbox oil cooler pipes (they join each tank up on the rad) for a S2 3500 Auto for sale?

Mine look a bit second-hand now. Confused
Rimmers just have lengths of copper pipe, and I'd prefer the originals if possible.

Cheers.

my alternator chopped mine one time when the battery was unsecured ..shoving the oil pipe into it...I got a whole lenth of pipe from cooler to gearbox from PIRTEK hosing co...they specialise in high pressure hoses and were able to match up the ends no prob..about 7 quid.

Cheers F.M., but funny you should say that. I went to my local Pirtek outlet earlier on today, before I even got into the shop with the pipes I was told by the guy outside 'no chance' and 'we wouldn't bother messing around with that'.
This particular outlet anyway has proved themselves to be crap yet again (I should of learnt the first time I went there a while back!).

After some prompting he directed me to a truck specialist down the road, who gave me even more of a blank expression!

I've also tried all the local firms I could find, the local scrappies and the SD1 used parts specialists. None as yet.... Confused

Yep, sounds like you have a good branch there!. There is another one a bit further afield. I'll try there if I get no luck elsewhere.
Cheers,

Pete.
