When was that pic taken and what was the event? Did you beat the Jag? Your car looks standard, i bet that catches people out! Twisted Evil There is an LSD up on E bay at the moment. As for the Tyres well mine has normal Vitesse wheels and tyres and just hooks up and goes. I got off the line much quicker and smoother than my friends Scooby with 4x4!

I was told by Chris of RPi fame, that any yank blocks were a relative waste of time as they are very heavy, being made of cast iron! And that they upset the handling. Although i bet an SD1 with an LS1 set back a bit would be awsome as a MK2 Granada at Retro at santa pod proved recently by posting 9 seconds something, was it?

jag won Crying or Very sad

thanxs k5 seen the slipper on e-bay Razz

as for yanky motors being a waste of time....... no coment Evil or Very Mad

the cars just for a bit of fun at the weekends
there was an old 78 yanky sadan one side of the yard n a 2lt rover the other side,n they kinnda came together one warm sunny evening Wink
yep motor is heavy all cast,(blew the front shocks, first time it sat in there)
but it wasnt put together for anything serious in mind, just a cheap project (cos most of the bits were laying around)

but she drives fine, even with standard 3500 brakes Wink
never noticed any handling probs

they are a tight fit, sumps just off the cross memmber,n airfilter just touches the bonnet Embarassed

if you're going to build a 350, why not build a 383 Shocked won't cost much more if you already have the block in bits.
