How did you attach the gutter chrome trim?

I have just done it on mine and it was a horrible job to do, not 100% happy with the result. I began to wonder if there was a special tool to nake life easier...

Horrible job yes... I used rubber mallet and hard force to it with my fingers. It still doesnt seat perfectly... but I doubt it ever will?
