Cheers Buddy
Yeah the arches are bad, as are the rear of the outer sills, but they have rotted right, from the rear inwards,as they should with the heated sills.
The inner sills are totaly rot free as is th rest of the underside.
I wanted one as rotten as I could find that would restore, I found this one was ideal, It has a history, which is why it was kept by one owner and not scrapped, after 2 years of trying to buy it another guy took it on, but then moved to Island so sold it to me.
I bought the car from Doncaster and cost me more to recover than the car
But its what I wanted,I bought the silver one so I could remember how to put this one back together _________________ Keep smiling |

Thanks Tim
I like the S1 more than the S2, I'm after a back panel and a auto gear lever at the mo.
Will have to get a rear hatch at some point, will have to be a S1 one though, don't fancy a S2 tail gate sat on the back. _________________ Keep smiling |
