Hi All,
Has anyone possibly got a pictorial idiots guide to re-fitting an elec sunroof i bought my SD1 last year with the sunroof and inner panel removed by previous owner. The inner s.roof panel has been re-covered by previous owner but he never got round to refitting all i have is a box of bits and am at a loss where to start Confused If anyone can advise me or has any pics of what brackets go where and how the whole assembly fits in would be very gratfully recieved INDEED Smile I have got a picture of the parts from a workshop manual but the detail is very small and no help really Confused Confused so lads and lasses please help Wink

Here is the microfishe image but it may still be too small.

Plus there are two sunroof articles on the club website members area.

as for pictures, I doubt anyone took any during the job - too confusing! but I have some from Kent Pettersson in scandanavia who was having some probs. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Hi All,
Any update on s.roof re-fitting as anyone done the ba*tard of a job yet i am convinced i have some bits missing as i am still at a loss Confused unfortunatly i cannot compare mine with any others Crying or Very sad Anymore pics of the fitting sequence and parts very much appreciated Wink i really really wonder if i will EVER get my SD1 on the road before my demise Rolling Eyes Pic below of my SD1 about 8 years ago before i bought it when it was on the road like hate-inlove

Hello Chas, according to the chatter on the Rover SD1 Club forum there have been several cars going to the scrap yard and you could do well to put a wanted post on that forum for someone to get one removed for you before it gets squashed.

You then get all the parts you need or at least a working example.

Thank you for quick reply and i do appreciate your advice but all i need is a pic of the bits that make up the s.roof assembley. The microfiche pic you so kindly posted hate-ok is a bit small for my knackered eyes Shocked There must be a better pic out there or someone that has re-fitted a s.roof and got a few pics SURELY come on lads and lasses click away i need some pics pleeease Wink
