I know this should go in the Wanted, but I guess more people look at the For Sale
I'm fitting an autobox in a car which is presently manual. Nearly there, but as usual there are some niggling bits missing.
I need the kickdown linkage for the standard SD1 3500 SUs, not the Stroms, not the GM180.
So, if you've gone 4-barrel and taken off your SU setup, read on:
Annoyingly, I have most of the linkage, I have the cable, the extension shaft that fits in the inlet manifold, the end support bracket that goes on the back of the manifold, what I specifically need is the bearing (and spacer?) that locates the shaft in the bracket.
If necessary I will buy the whole linkage. Or the whole setup, manifold n carbs n'all!
Can email you a picture to clarify if necessary.
I also need the pilot bearing that locates the BW66 torque convertor into the rear of the crankshaft. BW66 please note, not the 65, the diameter is different. No it's not! Was given a bum steer, I just dug out the 65 & 66 torque convertors and measured the nose, and they both need the same 3/4" steel pilot bush.
