My S1 has rusty arches with large amounts of filler on the drivers side. It also has a big hole behind the arch near the bumper, added to this I have found rust under the plastic cover bewteen the door and the rear 1/4 light. added to this it has a hole in the sill closing section I am giving consideration to reaplceing this whole wing/quater as I suspect it's going to be a hard job to repair the wing. I seem to remeber there were some web pages that did show this job being done but can't find it

The other side has surface rust on the arch, an even bigger hole behind the arch below the bumper, and a hole in the pillar behind the same palstic trim, this I hope I can repair with just sections cut form an outer panel, any thoughts?

I also woudl like to know how to remove the rear 1/4 light window

I've had to repair sections of outer rear wheelarch on my Vitesse, using bits of a front wing I had to cut up. But I need an inner rear wheelarch repair panel, anybody know where I can find one of those??

I've always just cut a piece of sheet metal and hammered it in almost same shape... then cut with angle grinder and welded on with mig.

Too many little bits need doing on one side, the C pillar, wheel arch, arear behind the arch and under the rear 1/4 light window.. while I wodul love to repair this wing keeping it original, I think I am better off chopping the whole thing out and repalceing it with one of rimmers bargain india parts, this way the shape will be right, the end result near perfect, and it is an original rover part. I have rescued the fornt wings however with my own repiar panel.. the rear wing on the other side is however notthing like as bad. The bad wing is tha only real area of any major rot
