i sit corrected!!
either way the parts which are different are still out there if you can find them - a series one bonnet (brand new old stock) went unsold on ebay a few weeks back. the starting bid was a tenner!

Well my replacement bonnet is a series one bonnet im using on a series 2. Plus the bonnet used on a crash repaired vitesse we are having for winter storage has a NOS Series 1 bonnet also Very Happy
