I need to know (aside from Wiring Configs) will the Series 2 headlights fit
my Series 1.......as headlight protectors are no longer available for these cars here in Australia.

I await with mild patience Rolling Eyes

Yes they will. I think the cars body is pretty much the same between series 2 and series 1. Apart from slight changes between series 2 models like the front lift points being welded on in the later models as the earlier models had them bolted in. Cannot see why not?

What comes to the wiring. The headlight wires have plugs also like 25-30cm away from the bulbs so I think if you get whole series 2 lights with the wires for bulbs etc then it will be prettymuch a bolt on job. Just unplugging the series 1 wiring and plugging in the series 2 wiring.

I am not 100% sure about this so please somebody confirm.

The conversion was done many times in the past to the series 1 cars to get series 2 looks.

Tradionists will hate the unorthodox lamps.but i think it looks sweet.it gives the front a 21st century touch.
