Im looking for a wiring diagram for the ECU plug of a 1982 SD1.
The car wont start and I think the ECU is not getting any power to it.
I have had the ECU checked and there is no proble with it but the car will still not start.
It tries to fire when it is turned over (gets fuel from the cold start injector)but will not run.
I have put an injector test light on the injector plugs and there is no signal going to them.
Any one have any ideas?

Try the temporary circuit here.

Quick check for the ECU is, with the ignition ON but engine OFF, quickly
open the throttle. You should hear the injectors fire - this is the enrichment
circuitry in the ECU working. If the ECU is dead, this won't occur.

Are you sure the fuel pump is running after cranking? I had the same
symptoms you are experiencing. Tracked down to the fuel
pump only running on cranking the engine, caused by a previously
unknown alarm inhibitor circuit!

Thanks for that Ramon, just a few of questions I am hopeing you could help me with.

Is the wiring for the ecu loom the same in the 82 as the 85?
The relay that is labled "SM" in the diagram.... what is the part number for it so I can buy a replacment one.
It looks like there is a resistor between the coil and pin 1.... in my haynes manual it says that it is a fuse?
Also just by looking at the diagram the best I can work out is that I should have 12v to ping 10 of the ECU and possibly pin 4 is that correct.

Thanks for the help, I will have a look when I get back to where my car is (my car is actualy at my cousins place in another state about 800km from me).
I have had the ECU checked and it tested fine.
The fuel pump is not running after cranking but I think there is a wiring problem with the power to the ecu..... I have one of those injector test lighs and it shows that there is no signal getting to the injectors.
The injectors have voltage to them but as the ecu works by switches to earth they are not earthing and there for not working.
What "alarm inhibitor circuit" are you refering to?

It was on an alarm fitted to my car, it's not a standard fitment. The
inhibitor was in the fuel pump supply - so if the alarm was armed,
the fuel pump wouldn't run.
