Hi,

my first replacement viscous coupling (early SD1 type) was broken down after 2000 km already. From the very first I never had the impression that it worked properly. Now I got a new one by the Rimmers at warranty. Again I have the impression, that the coupling doesn't work. No difference when stored in a refrigerator at about 5°C or in an oven at about 40°C.
Has had anybody the same experience or does anybody know a test method when item is not fitted yet.
Thank you for your help.

Kind regards
Christof
