Front bumper nutsAm almost ready to fit the front bumper back onto my Vitesse, but have come accross a problem. When I sold the old bumper on eBay, I accidentally left the nuts on it! So I need to get some new nuts, can anybody tell me what size the nuts are? I guessed that they might be M10, but I'm not 100% sure, can anybody help??

Hi,

Yes the Nuts are M10, I have removed the brackets from my car for closer fitting and have all the fixings lying aroung I you want them (bracket and mounting bolts). Or my company can supply some to you in Marine grade stainless steel Wink .
M10 Nuts 16p. Plain Washer 8p, Spring washer 6p or Nylocs 22p.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Dan.

Bad idea to put stainless nuts on iron bolts. They will totally "weld" on over time so only way is to cut the nut or bolt off.

Oh yes, I know that. That's why I'm putting normal steel nuts on.

They sell some zinc dipped nuts here (do not confuse those with normal yellow-passivated ones) and their supposed not to weld on and last a lot longer. They use them in attaching snow-stoppers to building roofs.
