Hi all

i am new here so be easy with me anyway i have a triumph stag 1975 totally restored and with a rover transplant in it was running sweet but now not it seems to me the timing needs doing. as when i drive and put me foot down it is very sluggish and loss of power its had all new plugs lead rotor arm and new etc . She is powered by the famous, ultra reliable and powerful not to mention the melodic sounding Rover 3500 V8 with a 5 speed manual box and electronic ignition (New) The fuel is pushed through a Holley 4 barrel carb and offenhauser manifold she also has tubular exhaust manifolds and a full stainless steel twin system! This will last a lifetime. Cooling is done with a recent radiator and electric Kenlowe fan which is thermostatically controlled or can be set manually if desired. and she also stalls when about to stop at traffic lights etc

pls HELP how do i set the timing

Are you sure the holley is adjusted properly? To me it sounds like its not getting enough juice.
