A very good friend of mine who also thought the owner of FRC was a mate entrusted the car (V8-S auto) to him 5 years ago to rebuild it for him, they had a bit of a falling out over something very minor, so FRC kept the car and refused to give it back although my mate has paid him upfront for most of the work done.

The owner of FRC refuses to speak to my mate and gets abuse when he rings up and as the car wasnt insured whilst being restored and he gave the car to him (albeit to restore it) theres nothing legally he can do as he has looked into it, even if it was insured it cant be reported as stolen as he gave the car to him willingly thinking he was doing the right thing!

Aparently he has since stripped the car and sold the parts off including the fully rebuilt engine. This is a shame as its a very rare model and was my mates pride and joy!

So there you are dont go anywhere near it!

If it was finnish people they had fooked with... im sure the owner would of had a little accident with some powertools and lost few fingers or a complete arm already.

My mates like me, he doesnt like confromtation, plus its the typical car with more than one alsation on patrol! The guys a crook, was once a member of the Sd1 mania club but when it disbanded he bleamed my mate for it (who set it up and ran it for 5 years unpaid!) and the loss of revenue.

Me neither matey, but asides from going up there with a bunch of burly blokes what can you do, plus the car will be scrap if it hasnt been by now as I think they took the glass out.

If you look at the picture attached to this aticle you can see the car, minus engine (he sold that off)
